Everybody calls him Gimpy, that's his claim to fame
He might be a little limpy, and a wee bit lame
And even though he's pastel, this Peace is going far
'Cuz Gimpy's got a suitcase -he's a Global Beanie star!

A Tearful Tribute to Travellin' Bonnie & a Galloping Gimpy Salute!
This isn't the first time that the members of A&B sent a stuffed animal in a Priority Box around the world! Oh no! Bonnie the Attic Treasure Chicken spent most of her life traveling throughout North America and Europe. After her hectic international travels, she retired at Razorback Chris's home in Arkansas (GO HOGS).
Christine wrote the following tribute to Bonnie as she toasted our newest Global Traveler- The GIMP.....
"Hey! You know I still have the old, beloved and definitely pierced and tattooed Bonnie and her travel journal hiding somewhere around here.. she was a wayward Bonnie. She loved to play hard. She got involved with a Harley Davidson motorcycle group of dubious background. And this little chickie decided she liked being a motorcycle mama. Oh, how her look and attitude changed. She arrived at my house with a large tattoo encircling a once lovely turned ankle. She was pierced multiple times. I wondered how she kept her stuffing in. Her look was well worn. She had definitely been around the block a few times. But our Bonnie still had her personality to the end. She expired with a quiet cluck one night. A smile upon her beak remembering all the good times she had had with all her A&B friends. So, in Bonnie's memory, I think we owe it to her to christen a new traveler in Gimpy. Here's to Gimpy!!!!!!!!" Let the traveling begin, Razorback Chris |
